Castleton is
situated at the centre of the Peak National Park on the
A6187 (formally A625), 16 miles from Sheffield and 29 miles
from Manchester, within easy reach of the M1 and M6
motorways.

A shuttle bus from Edale and Hope railway stations linking
the caverns and Castleton operates at weekends and on Bank
Holidays throughout the year, along with a daily bus service
from Sheffield to Castleton. |

Treak Cliff
Cavern is situated on Buxton Road close to the west end
of the village.

Admittance to Treak Cliff Cavern is by Guided Tour only.
For insurance purposes there must be a minimum of 2
people for a tour to operate. At quiet times and to avoid
disappointment if you are visiting on your own please call

definately running at the time you will be visiting.
